Bottom Up Shade Spring Boxes
The key component of the smooth operation of our bottom up shades are the spring tension assemblies. This tried and true mechanical spring device provides a constant tension and lift to the shade when the fabric is rolled from the tube by the Lutron motor.
The spring assembly enclosure is an extruded aluminum box measuring:
7 1/2" in width, 2 1/4" in depth and 2 3/4" in height.
The assemblies are typically mounted inside of a pocket, where applicable or can be covered by a fascia or valance to match the woodwork or decor of the application. The lift cord is a virtually invisible .9 mm. white nylon cord.
Easy to install, they come fully assembled from our factory. They are fastened to the window header with two screws and with a quick connection of the cord to the grommets pre punched into the flexible hembar they are ready to go for years of trouble free operation in just a few minutes.
